Privacy Policy
Bordr is built by a small team and runs on the minimum amount of data needed to make the app and your portfolio work. This page explains what that means in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to info@santigomez.com.
Information we collect
When you sign in to Bordr, we receive an account identifier from Apple's Sign in with Apple service, plus the name you choose to share at sign-in. If you sign in after we started asking Apple for an email address, we also receive the address Apple releases for that sign-in — either your own, or a private relay address if you chose Hide My Email. We use the account identifier to recognise you when you sign back in. We keep the email so we can reach you; we don't put it on your portfolio.
When you save a bordered photo, the framed image is uploaded to Bordr's hosting so it can appear on your portfolio at yourname.bordr.art. Your username is part of that URL and is public. We don't keep a copy of the original, unbordered photo.
To build your public page we also store the profile details attached to it — your username, an optional bio, an optional Instagram handle, any name you set in place of the Bordr logo, and any caption you add to a photo. Anything that appears on your portfolio is public.
If you buy Bordr Pro, Apple gives us a signed record of the purchase. We store the transaction identifier, the product, whether it reached you as your own purchase or through Family Sharing, and the date — enough to confirm your unlimited access on any device you sign in to, and to stop it if the purchase is later refunded. Apple takes the payment; we never see your card or billing details.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on bordr.art to count visits to the marketing site and the public portfolios. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint visitors, and doesn't track people across other sites.
Bordr does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, or any sensor data, and the app does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
How we use your information
The data above is used to run the app, host and serve your portfolio, recognise you when you sign back in, respond when you contact support, reach you at the address Apple shared if we need to, and understand high-level traffic to bordr.art. We don't build behavioural profiles, and we don't use your photos to train machine-learning models.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We use a small number of service providers to operate Bordr — Apple (for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, and in-app purchases), and Cloudflare (for hosting, the bordr.art subdomains, and Web Analytics). Each one only sees the data needed to do its job, and each is bound by its own privacy policy.
If we're ever required to disclose information by law, we'll do so — and where we're legally allowed to, we'll tell you first.
Your rights and choices
From Settings in the app you can:
- Make your portfolio private at any time — your page stops being publicly viewable immediately.
- Change your username once every 30 days.
- Delete any photo from your portfolio. It's removed from yourname.bordr.art straight away.
- Delete your account entirely. This removes your portfolio, your photos, and the personal details on your account record. Backups roll off within 30 days. If you bought Bordr Pro we keep the purchase record itself, so that signing back in with the same Apple ID gives you back what you paid for instead of asking you to buy it twice.
If you'd like a copy of the data we hold about you, or want us to delete it on your behalf, email info@santigomez.com and we'll get back to you within a reasonable time.
Children
Bordr isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up to Bordr, please write to us and we'll remove the account.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Substantive changes that affect existing users will also be flagged inside the app.
