Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Bordr iOS app and the portfolio service at yourname.bordr.art. They're written in plain English. Where lawyers would normally use ten words, we've tried to use two.
Accepting these terms
By downloading Bordr or signing in to a portfolio, you agree to these terms. If we update them, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged inside the app.
Your account
You sign in to Bordr with your Apple ID. You're responsible for keeping access to that Apple ID secure — if someone else gets into your Apple account, they get into your Bordr account.
Your username is yours as long as your account is active. You can change it once every 30 days. Don't pick a username that pretends to be someone else, impersonates a brand, or exists to harass another person.
Acceptable use
Don't use Bordr to publish content that:
- you don't have the rights to;
- shows another person in a way they haven't consented to;
- is illegal where you live or where the content is hosted;
- promotes violence, hatred against a protected group, or sexual content involving minors;
- is intended to harass, defame, or impersonate someone.
We may remove any content that breaks these rules, and in serious or repeated cases we may close the account. Decisions about removal are at our sole discretion. We have zero tolerance for content involving the exploitation of minors, and will report it to the authorities where required by law.
Reporting content
Every public portfolio page on bordr.art includes a "Report" link in the footer that opens a pre-filled email to us. You can also reach us directly at info@santigomez.com. We aim to review every report within 48 hours and will act on anything that breaks the rules above.
Your photos stay yours
You keep the copyright on every photo you upload. To run the portfolio service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store the photo, process it (resize, generate thumbnails), and display it on your portfolio page. This licence ends when you delete the photo or your account.
We don't use your photos to train machine-learning models, sell them to stock libraries, or include them in marketing without asking you first.
Pricing
Bordr is free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. If that ever changes, we'll update these terms and tell you inside the app before any paid feature appears.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Bordr at any time. Delete the app to remove it from your device, or delete your account from Settings to remove your portfolio at the same time.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, that put other users at risk, or where we're legally required to. Where it's possible, we'll let you know first.
As-is, and our liability
Bordr is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.
To the extent allowed by law, Bordr is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example, lost income from a portfolio being temporarily offline. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that can't be limited by law (such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there's a dispute we can't resolve over email, the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
